Holy crap! Some people are so awesome.
I just got this candy-filled package from a new friend named Jo in Germany. GERMANY. How crazy is that? This internet this is a phenomenom, I tell you!
Little did Jo know, when I traveled to Germany with my high school band (nerd!) in 1997, I was OBSESSED with Milka chocolate bars. I brought back like 10 pounds of chocolate, not kidding. So needless to say, this was the best package I’ve ever gotten.
I can’t wait to send back some treats from the good old US of A.
Sidenote: if our childhood pen pal notes had been accompanied by candy, I bet the trend would have been 100x more successful.
