When we were little, my brother and I wanted a puppy, BAD. Unfortunately, my mom vetoed the puppy idea and instead got us each a rabbit. Mine was named Oreo and my brother’s was Lucky. They were adorable and awesome until they started humping each other constantly despite a) both being girls and b) being sisters. The humping combined with their stubborn refusal to poop in the carefully crafted bottomless area of their hutch eventually made us lose interest.
But oh man does this video make me want to try again.
This summer, five of my friends are getting married within four months - four college friends and one very special post-college friend. The wedding locations are diverse: Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, New Hampshire and Connecticut. Phew.
I am so excited for all my friends, but at the same time, I am overwhelmed. Of course I want to attend absolutely everything, but with bridal showers, engagement parties and bachelorettes, when is it okay to draw the line? Is it ever okay to use the excuse “I just can’t afford it anymore”?
My very good friend is getting married in May in Florida. She had an engagement party last winter in upstate New York. She is having a bridal shower at the end of January in New York City. She is having a bachelorette spa weekend in Florida in March, followed by her wedding in May. Including gifts, hotels, and airfare, her wedding process will end up costing me a fortune. I love her, but it’s just too much.
Whenever Ricky gets married, he wants to have a destination wedding where he flies his guests to a remote location. This is sounding like heaven right about now.
In turn, here is a 4 year old picture of me. I am scheming. It has something to do with that blue crayon.
Quick, everybody upload 4 year old pictures of themselves! I want my tumblr feed to make me look like a pedaphile.
Me at 4, coked out of my mind.
I am obsessed with this picture of Elaine. Mostly because 20 years later she looks EXACTLY the same. Minus the whole coke addiction thing. But she does still wear this dress.
