New CHTV: Awkward Rap.
Sam, Amir and Dan are great in this. Getting groped/boob punched was an honor.

I’m not really into horoscopes, but I checked mine today on a whim (my friend Janelle had posted hers) at the NY Post and, well:
“The Sun may be transiting the most sensitive area of your chart at the moment but other aspects suggest you will be in party mood over the next two or three days. You don’t have to wait for the Sun to change signs on the 22nd. Have fun now.”
This weekend is the Del Close Marathon (three days of insane fun and parties) and on the 22nd I leave for my week of summer vacation. Maybe they’re onto something here. Or just eerily lucky.
Two nights ago I had a dream where my mom, my grandmother and I were on a trip. My grandmother was very sick, and at one point in the dream, my mom called me into a bedroom to say goodbye to her. I said goodbye, and that I would miss her, and my grandmother died. I woke up at 6am, emotionally affected. The grandmother from the dream did, in fact, die within the last year.
I spoke to my mom the following morning, told her about the dream, and how I had almost called her at 6am the night before to check in. She thinks for a moment, and then has a realization - a year ago this day, she was here visiting me in New York, and got a call from her mother’s doctor. My grandmother was on the brink of death, and my mom should return home as soon as possible. The call came at 6am on the same night as my dream, exactly one year earlier.
Tonight I spoke with my brother for the first time about the dream. He got a thoughtful, almost amused look on his face. Wow, he said. Two nights ago I had a dream about Nanny, too.
Sometimes we’re even more connected to our families than we thought we were.
Today on the subway ride home, Will and I found ourselves discussing the illustrious career of Tim Curry. Although we knew he’d been in a million things, we had trouble coming up with the specifics.
A quick IMDB search gave us the specifics we were looking for, but more importantly, revealed the fact that Tim Curry has the most incredible list of character names ever. Its like what you would get if you asked a room full of 11 year old nerds to write down the names of their imaginary friends.

Geez, our Editorial/Originals Dept keeps putting out winners.
SO excited that this video finally came out. I was part of the original conversation that spawned this idea (on the van ride home from filming Internet Commenter Funeral), and was lucky enough to be cast as Futura, showcasing my EXTREMELY ACCURATE futuristic robot voice. I just love it.

Goal for next week: get an iPhone and see the Dark Knight in the same day.
Want a date for both events?
Here’s some awesome news about the new show!
And my skepticism fades even further, as its slow but steady mutation to excitement is almost fully complete. Wow.
FX has ordered fifty two new episodes of the criminally underrated It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. There will be 13 episodes in the coming-soon fourth season, and then 39 past that.

The best news I’ve heard in a while. There are few shows I love/quote as often as Always Sunny.
