My friend Ben Schwartz just sent me a message asking if I had sound editing software. He had an MP3 that he wanted trimmed down so he could make it into a ringtone. I agreed to help him and immediately edited down a twenty second clip of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” to send back to him.

Holy crap! Some people are so awesome.
I just got this candy-filled package from a new friend named Jo in Germany. GERMANY. How crazy is that? This internet this is a phenomenom, I tell you!
Little did Jo know, when I traveled to Germany with my high school band (nerd!) in 1997, I was OBSESSED with Milka chocolate bars. I brought back like 10 pounds of chocolate, not kidding. So needless to say, this was the best package I’ve ever gotten.
I can’t wait to send back some treats from the good old US of A.
Sidenote: if our childhood pen pal notes had been accompanied by candy, I bet the trend would have been 100x more successful.

Jeff Rubin invented a new brand of skiing this weekend. It’s called ‘ski faster than anyone else on the mountain and then, instead of stopping, crash to the ground in an amazing explosion of snow and skis.’ I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time.

This morning, the last song to play on my clock radio before I shut it off was “September.” Tonight, while setting the alarm for tomorrow, “Shining Star” was playing.
Bookending a day in Earth, Wind & Fire just makes the entire thing that much better.
It is my opinion that the “R rated” trailer is ALWAYS superior to the “all audiences” trailer. This family unfriendly trailer for “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” also contains 100% more Jack McBrayer than the last one, which is also a pretty big bonus.
I am very excited for this movie. Not only does Jason Segel star (Nick Andopolis is my Jordan Catalano), but he also wrote the screenplay.
Normally I love Urban Outfitters, but are they serious with this absolute piece of crap?
“Make sure your girl’s wearing her winter jacket, cause this is a LOT of ice!
